Sporting the “special”

In MEMENTO NORA,  Winter gives herself a perfect circle  tattoo. (This is also known as an Enso, which is the Japanese word for circle.)  Later, in THE MEME PLAGUE,  Velvet is inspired to get the same tattoo when she has her chip removed at the underground operation in Mr. Yamada’s shop.  The circle or Enso becomes the special tattoo that signifies that you’ve gone underground.

Now you can sport the same tattoo–at least temporarily.  All you need  is the graphic below and a sheet of temporary tattoo paper made for your printer. (I used World-Paper.com’s laser printer temporary tattoo paper, which is available on Amazon as are several other brands. )

"...a gift for both reluctant and regular readers.”

- Booklist

“…the themes of inquiry and fighting back will resonate
with young and old.”

-School Library Journal

“The novel is taut and lean; Smibert’s prose is quick and fluid…”
–Horn Book Magazine

“Engaging, spirited characters and a plot that can stand on its own…This story could provide great fodder for discussions about the relative roles of government, business and the individual in a world of increasing consolidation and conformity.”

—Children’s Literature
